Position

Intern, Regional Marketing, Industrial Petrochemicals, Petrochemicals Asia Pacific

Objectives of the Position

·         As part of the Industrial Petrochemicals Business Management team, you will be directly reporting to and coaching by Regional Marketing Director, Industrial Petrochemicals, Petrochemicals Asia Pacific and joining regional marketing projects for a multiple hundred million Euros business.

Main Tasks

·         As a regional marketing intern of Industrial Petrochemicals, you will be spearheading a project to develop pricing strategy of spot market for Industrial Petrochemicals via study competition's behaviour and its impact on market price in South China.

·         Be coaching by Regional Marketing Director, assess market information and future trends to develop segment roadmaps for the Asia Pacific region.

·         Exposure and presentation to BASF senior leadership team on project recommendations

Requirements

·         Commitment to a 3–6-month internship combination of on-site and virtual from Jun 2024, and the candidate must be mobile to GZ or HK.

·         Students of Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines,  

·         Previous project experience or exposure to chemical industry will be a plus point.

·         Any experience on commodity trading would be preferred.

·         Proficiency in oral and written English & Chinese.

·         Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
